USA wins first ever gold in jumping at World Equestrian Games; Attendance tops 200,000

MILL SPRING, N.C.  —  First female ever to win gold in jumping at the World Equestrian Games -Simone Blum Germany   United States got team gold in the world equestrian games and jumping for the first time and read the question history   

– Unofficial numbers show the 2018 World Equestrian Games at the Tryon International Equestrian Center drew a little more than 200,000 people, organizers said Sunday before the final two events, jumping and driving, brought the two-week event to a close.

“No doubt this has been an extraordinary two weeks,” said Ingmar De Vos, president of the Fédération Equestre Internationale, the governing body of the games. “We’ve had our challenges along the way.”
